Transition to RoHS Compliant Production of ITOX Motherboards
Summary
The ITOX product line will be transitioning to RoHS Compliant Production to meet the European
Union (EU) Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) requirements which specify lead-free
manufacturing. While the world transitions to meet the restrictive, non-RoHS materials are
becoming increasingly more difficult to source and many non-RoHS goods are now obsolete.
There will be some overlap in product availability of non-RoHS and RoHS boards until transition
is complete and non-RoHS inventories are depleted; availability will vary according to model.
Full transition of inventory is expected in mid-May but several models are available now in small
quantities for testing, and all new product releases (new design releases) will be RoHS
compliant upon initial release.
